Thursday Overnight Florida Airport Situation Due To Hurricane Helene


Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB): Open and operational.

Tampa International Airport (TPA): Will suspend all operations from 2 a.m. Thursday. This includes cargo and commercial operations. TPA anticipates to open on Friday following a damage assessment, according to its website.

Orlando International Airport (MCO): Open and operational, but may have delays or cancellations. On Thursday afternoon, MCO said there had been 65 cancellations.

St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport (PIE): Airport terminal will close after last flight arrival on Wednesday. Airport closed for Thursday, but PIE plans to reopen on Friday morning.
Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood Int'l Airport (FLL): Open and operational, but may have delays or cancellations.

Miami International Airport (MIA): Open and operational, but may have delays or cancellations.

Jacksonville International Airport (JAX): Open and operational, but may have delays or cancellations.

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL): Open and operational, but may be impacted by flights in the southeast.
