Disney Announces Lightning Lane Premier Pass for Expedited Entry to Attractions
Exciting news for Disney fans! Officials from Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have announced a new service called Lightning Lane Premier Pass that will provide expedited entry to theme park attractions. This new offering is set to launch in the coming weeks and is expected to enhance the guest experience at both Disney parks.
The Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities, with each guest receiving a one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This premium service will include attractions from both the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass options, allowing guests to skip the regular lines and enjoy more rides and experiences during their visit.
Unlike other Disney FastPass options, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass does not require guests to select a specific experience time in advance. Prices for the pass will vary based on the date and theme park being visited, providing flexibility and convenience for travelers looking to maximize their time in the parks.
At Disneyland, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting two days in advance of a theme park reservation. Guests will have the option to use the pass in both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, with the debut date set for October 23, 2024.
For visitors to Disney World, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will initially be exclusive to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts. The pass can be purchased up to seven days before their stay and will be valid for daily use in one part of the guest's choosing. The launch date for this service at Disney World is slated for October 30, 2024, allowing guests staying at select resorts to experience the convenience and added value of the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
