Carnival Cruise Line is cutting out Costa Maya stop.

Carnival will end most of its Costa Maya calls after October 2026 once Royal Caribbean takes over the port and transforms it into Perfect Day Mexico—an exclusive playground just for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity guests.  

While they enjoy VIP access to the epic new waterpark, Carnival cruisers will be left watching from the shore.  

If Costa Maya is on your Carnival must-visit list, now’s the time to chart a new course for your Caribbean adventures.
