A Delta flight caused nose and ear bleeding due to turbulence this past Sunday

Some Delta Air Lines passengers are recovering after experiencing a pressurization issue on a flight from Salt Lake City, Utah, to Portland, Oregon, which resulted in bloody noses and other discomfort, according to statements from the airline and passengers.

A Delta spokesperson issued an apology to customers on flight 1203 on Sept. 15, mentioning that the flight crew followed procedures to return to SLC where ground teams assisted passengers with their immediate needs. Passengers from the affected flight were transferred to another aircraft while Delta technicians resolved the pressurization problem. The aircraft was deemed fit for service the next day.
One passenger, Jaci Purser, described feeling as if her ear was being stabbed while experiencing bubbling and bleeding. Other passengers, including Purser's colleagues, also reported discomfort and bleeding from their ears and noses.
Fellow passenger Caryn Allen recalled seeing multiple individuals in pain, with some suffering from bloody noses. Although there were no serious injuries reported, medical personnel identified 10 passengers who required evaluation or treatment post-flight.

The Federal Aviation Administration has initiated an investigation into the incident.

Hopefully, everyone is doing ok today.
